Canada’s Juno Awards has announced its 2012 nominees and Justin Bieber is nominated for 2 Juno Awards.
Drake and Bieber will face off in the Album of the Year category, which also includes Avril Lavigne’s “Goodbye Lullabye” and Nickelback’s “Here and Now.” The category includes two Christmas albums, Bieber’s “Under the Mistletoe” and Michael Buble’s “Christmas.”
The International Album of the Year category gave nods to a number of familiar faces, including Adele, Coldplay, Lady Gaga, LMFAO and Rihanna.
Justin will face some competition in the Fan Choice category, in against against Lavigne, Bieber, Drake and Arcade Fire.
Justin Bieber will join Michael Jackson’s kids and the late King of Pop’s brothers for a celebration of the pop superstar’s life on Thursday Jan 26, 2012.
“Honoring the greatest @michaeljackson this week,” the pop star wrote on Monday in response to a message about the ceremony from Jackson’s Twitter account. “He set the bar for all of us. #MJFOREVER.”
Paris, Blanket, and Prince will use one of their late father’s sequined gloves and a pair of his shoes to make impressions in the cement outside Grauman’s Chinese Theatre on Hollywood Boulevard and the event, which will be streamed live via Twitter, will launch a day of Jackson celebrations.
Local schoolchildren will perform Jackson’s hits and the King of Pop’s brothers will also play live, according to reports.

Selena is throwing an intimate concert at the House of Blues Jan. 20 to benefit UNICEF, and her concert goers are in for a big treat. Justin Bieber is currently set to make an appearance and sing!
An insider said, “Justin will be a surprise guest at Selena’s concert. UNICEF is really important to Selena and Justin knows this.”
Not only is Justin, 17, supporting Selena, 19, tomorrow night, he’s joining her for the South American leg of her tour!
“Even though he’s in the studio right now working on his album, Justin’s going to make time to go down to South America,” our source says. “Plus, they love traveling together.”
This Sunday Selena will perform in San Juan, Puerto Rico and Tuesday, she will be in Panama City.
Justin Bieber will help TOSY Robotics unveil an entertainment robot, while the “Jersey Shore” star and the rapper will promote audio accessories.
Bieber, 50 Cent, and Snooki will be among the celebrities that will make appearances at the 2012 International CES (Consumer Electronics Show) that runs Jan 10 to 13 in Las Vegas.
Bieber will help TOSY Robotics unveil an entertainment robot on Wednesday, while Snooki will appear to help promote Zeikos USA’s iHip new line of audio accessories.
Meanwhile, rapper 50 Cent will sign autographs on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday as he promotes his new audio firm SMS Audio and his new line of wireless headphones.
In his opening monologue for this concert attended by the president, airing tonight, host Conan O’Brien joked, “It’s especially exciting to be here during this joyous season when we celebrate the arrival of a miracle child worshipped by millions around the world. I’m speaking, of course, of Justin Bieber.” Cee Lo Green and Jennifer Hudson also perform.

Another mob scene looms when the 17-year-old returns home to Canada for a 30-minute holiday special. The taping of the acoustic set will be at a secret venue in Toronto and the proceeds of the performance will benefit Mr. Bieber’s Believe charity drive.

The ultimate tween fantasy becomes a reality when Mr. Bieber performs on the Cinderella Castle stage at Magic Kingdom park. Christina Aguilera will also perform, along with some of Mr. Bieber’s co-stars from his earlier holiday specials, including Mr. Green and Ms. Hudson.
Justin is on the set of X-Factor in Los Angeles right now rehearsing for his performance. Later night he will pre-record his performance of “The Christmas Song” and “Santa Claus Is Coming To Town” which will later be aired on the finale show.
Too bad he is not performing “All I Want For Christmas” with Mariah Carey as previously reported because that would be so awesome. But there are rumors that he could be performing a duet with Stevie Wondder. The finale of X-Factor will air next week – Thursday Dec 22, 2011. Stay tuned!
