Justin Bieber may appear on Wrestle Mania for national anthem

If the stars align, Justin Bieber might be tapped to sing ‘America The Beautiful’ at WrestleMania 27 on April 3, 2011 in Atlanta…which would put him in a league of performers like Aretha Franklin and Ray Charles!

Justin Bieber might not want to get in the ring with spandex wearing hunks like Randy Orton, The Miz and John Cena, but the 16-year old star’s singing pipes might get him in their grasps regardless. WrestleMania — the annual Super Bowl of wrestling — returns for its 27th incarnation in the Georgia Dome in Atlanta, GA in 2011 and a consistent fixture is to start off the festivities with a rousing rendition of America The Beautiful!

An insider tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively that WWE is trying to get younger viewers and that they’re out to get the Biebs on board.

“It is so perfect! To have Justin perform in front of 70,000 plus people would just be amazing! It is so perfect”, our source says. “It’s still a work in progress but it would be a lot of fun.”

We totally agree, and if Justin wanted to add to his fun night, he could easily ask his friend Kim Kardashian how to handle things backstage with the fellow wrestlers — she was the official host of WrestleMania 24 back in 2008!

Teen singer Justin Bieber is set to show up Disneyland on Friday. But general theme-park visitors shouldn’t expect to see him.
Bieber, the biggest teen idol of the moment, is scheduled to appear at a private event only for winners of a contest put on by KIIS FM, host Ryan Seacrest and Def Jam Records. The event is billed as a day to “hang out” with Bieber and Seacrest.
Disney is expecting “several hundred” winners, said George Savvas, a Disneyland Resort spokesman, in an e-mail message.
“Bieber Fever: A Live Streaming Event,” is scheduled to be Web cast on Seacrest’s Facebook page at at 6 p.m. Friday.
“This is the only way for people who did not win the opportunity to be there in person to ‘take part’ in the event. It will not be visible to guests in the park who are not contest winners,” Savvas said. “Guests who inquire in person will receive the same information.”
Disney officials refused to release the exact location within the park or what time it would begin. Winners will learn the location when they check in at Disneyland. The media (including the Orange County Register) is not invited to the event.
“There will be no public appearance at Disneyland by either Justin Bieber or Ryan Seacrest during this private event and Disneyland park guests will not encounter either of them in the park,” Savvas said.
Disney has tried to keep private other events by big-time celebrities, but the park hasn’t always been successful in keeping away fans. In November 2008, some mothers hid behind bushes and rushed the Disneyland gates to try to get into a semi-private Jonas Brothers’ book-signing event. Read about the Jonas Brothers event HERE.
Fans sometimes get glimpses of famous musicians, includingMiley Cyrus, during the filming of the Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade, which isn’t publicly announced but occurs during regular park hours. Disney Channel star Selena Gomez and musician Stevie Wonder performed in November for the T.V. show.
Bieber, now 16, got attention from record companies and top singers Usher and Justin Timberlake after posting videos of himself performing on YouTube in 2007, according to Bieber’s bio. He signed on with Island Records in October 2008. His album, My World 2.0, was released Tuesday.

Monday (March 1) is Justin Bieber’s 16th birthday, but before he opened his own presents, he gave a huge gift to one of his youngest, but most enthusiastic, fans.

Last week, 3-year-old Cody became an Internet sensation when her sister posted a video of her crying over the teen heartthrob on YouTube. In a pretaped segment for Monday night’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” Bieber came face to face with the toddler. And in a fortunate turn of events, the encounter didn’t make Cody cry at all.

Bieber posted a photo of their meeting and wrote, “Makin faces with Cody, Ciera, and @chynanny325 !! Awesome family and Cody isn’t crying..haha. Happy to surprise them.”

He later tweeted about how much he loved meeting his little fan. “I met Cody. She is even cuter in person,” he wrote in response to Perez Hilton. And he wrote to Joe Jonas that the meeting occurred last Thursday. “Yep, Cody rules. Actually met her yesterday.”

Cody’s older sister, Cheyenne, also wrote about the meeting on the Twitter account she started in response to Cody’s fame. “Hey guys watch us meet Justin on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’ on Monday night…At midnight… He kissed me BTW… ahhh.”

“Saturday Night Live” has always been a haven for young comics and hot musicians, and there have been the rare occasions where the show takes its focus on youth very literally. On April 10, 15-year-old Candian singing phenomenon Justin Bieber will take the stage at 30 Rock and serve as the musical guest on “SNL.” (By the time he sings on the show, he will have turned 16 — his birthday is March 1). Bieber immediately makes history as one of the youngest performers to ever grace the “Saturday Night Live” stage, joining the elite group below.
Ashlee Simpson
The singer had just turned 20 years old when she took the stage on October 23, 2004 on an episode hosted by Jude Law. Her first song “Pieces of Me” ran smoothly, but when she got to her second song, something went wrong. The intro to “Pieces of Me” played again, Simpson’s guide track got pumped into the audio and the singer simply decided to do a jig.
Taylor Swift
Swift can’t seem to do anything without breaking a record, winning an award or setting an otherwise untouched precedent. So it’s not surprising that when she first guested on “Saturday Night Live” in 2009, she was among one of the youngest musical guests in the show’s history. The 19-year-old Swift rolled through “Love Story” and “Forever and Always.”
Avril Lavigne
In January of 2003, the “Complicated” singer took the stage of “Saturday Night Live” when she was only 18 years old. In a strange double-bill, the Canadian shared the show with host and NASCAR driver Jeff Gordon and performed two smash hits in “I’m With You” and “Complicated.”
The Jonas Brothers
Kevin, Nick and Joe Jonas took the stage at 30 Rock on Valentine’s Day in 2009, which no doubt sent a number of girls into a swoon. At the time, Joe was 19 and Nick was only 16 when they rolled through “Tonight” and “Video Girl.”
Silverchair
One of the stories surrounding this post-grunge trio from Australia was always their remarkable age: They recorded their multi-platinum debut Frogstomp when they were each a mere 15 years old. By the time they played “SNL” on December 9, 1995, they were each 16, which made the toughness of their songs “Tomorrow” and “Pure Massacre” all the most impressive.
Hanson
Before we had the Jonas Brothers, we had Hanson, a trio of siblings from Oklahoma. They played “Saturday Night Live” on December 13, 1997, when the oldest member of the band (guitarist Isaac) was only 17. Frontman Taylor Hanson was 14, and drummer Zac Hanson was an astonishing 12 years old when he pounded out “MMMBop” and “Merry Christmas Baby” live at 30 Rock.
Of course, the musical guests don’t hold a candle to the age of the youngest hosts on the show, which include Drew Barrymore (she was only seven years old when the show aired), Macaulay Culkin (11) and Fred Savage (13).
MTV
Justin may not have be the youngest to appear on SNL but he will become the youngest solo musical guest to perform on the show.
