Justin Bieber might have the support of Selena Gomez for his Best New Artist win at 2010 MTV Video Music Awards, but he will have to battle for fans vote against her at another MTV awards. Nominees of 2010 MTV European Music Awards have been made public on Monday, September 20, and it was unraveled that both Justin and Selena are nominated for Best Push Act.
The twosome are up against eight other nominees that include the likes of B.o.B, Ke$ha, Jason Derulo and Alexandra Burke for the nod. While 16-year-old Justin collected two more gongs from Best Male and Best New Act, this Push Act category is the only nomination 18-year-old Selena received. She is nominated along with her band The Scene.
Justin is heading to Europe next. There has been no official announcedment but Justin twittered:
“new day…new adventure…time to get ready for the MY WORLD Tour – also going to be announcing 2nd leg tour dates soon!
“and no worries…in the next year we plan to tour the whole World!! Every country we can. I appreciate all your support
As I told you back on April 1, an official announcement should come out July/August.
