Considering Justin Bieber is all of 16 and can sing and dance, he’s sort of perfect to play a high school student on Glee.
Well, maybe not.
Matthew Morrison, who plays Mr. Schuester, isn’t so keen on our idea of bringing Bieber Fever to McKinley High…
“I don’t get this Bieber thing,” Morrison told us last night at the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences’ Glee panel, which was fabulously moderated by our very own TV queen, Kristin Dos Santos. “I really don’t get it. I hear he was in Australia and they kicked him out because he started a riot.
“I haven’t even heard his music. I couldn’t tell you one name of his songs—and I’m not lying about that!”
Jane Lynch, who plays the show’s resident meanie Sue Sylvester, seconds that. “Oh, honey. You’re asking the wrong person these questions,” Lynch said, laughing, when we brought up the Bieber idea. “I know things about artists, but I don’t know about pop stars.”
Kevin McHale, aka Artie, simply said, “Uh, [Bieber] seems busy. I don’t know if he has the time.”
The only support we were able to find last night for the “Baby” singer was from Cory Monteith, who plays singing football player Finn. “I think it would be fun,” Monteith said. “What’s wrong with a little Bieb? Everyone needs to be a little infected by the Biebonic plague.”

This week, not only did Miley Cyrus get to serve as a mentor on “American Idol,”but she also got to hang out with pop music’s newest idol, Justin Bieber, when bothappeared on “The View.” But she admitted that her 10-year-old sister, Noah, was a lot more excited to meet the 16-year-old than she was.
“Bieber fever … I’m not necessarily a fan. I don’t listen to that kind of music,” she told MTV News at the red carpet for her new flick, “The Last Song,” on Thursday night in Los Angeles. “I like Kurt Cobain. [He] is like my dream boyfriend.”
Noah, however, was thrilled to get a very public shout-out from the “Baby” singer. “But my little sister was obsessed with him, and he actually gave her a shout-out on Twitter,” she said. “And I thought that was really sweet. So I was like, ‘Thank you so much. That meant a lot too.’ … He called her a cutie, and I haven’t stopped hearing about it.”
Meanwhile, Miley was still thrilled about being chosen to mentor the Idols this week. “It’s cool. I was the youngest mentor, so I was excited that people really cared what I had to say and were inspired by me,” she said. “And it was great.”

I knew this was coming. After those few jabs Justin sent her way (“Don’t wanna do the Hannah Montana thing” and “I think of The Climb”) I’m sure Miley wouldn’t mind coming back with a jab of her own. I wouldn’t expect a duet from these two.
In a recent interview, Justin Bieber talked about his senior Mariah Carey and ruled out a duet project with the R&B singer. The 16-year-old singer explained her new music in “Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel” is the reason why he doesn’t want to collaborate with her.
“I don’t love her new music, it’s not the same,” the Canadian pop singing sensation told The Sun. “It’s like Michael Jordan coming back out to play in the NBA. She is past her best.”
While he is not interested to team up with Mariah Carey, the young pop star said he would love to hook up with British songbird Corinne Bailey Rae. “She’s a talented artist and seems like a nice person,” he reasoned.
Another thing that he discussed was his life as an ordinary kid despite the fact that he is a big star now. “I’m a grounded person. I don’t need security when I’m home as they know who I am. I live with my mum and tour with my dad,” he stated. “I’m just a regular 16 year old kid. I make good grilled cheese and I like girls. I have to do my homework which is a chore. English is my best subject but I’m bad at chemistry.”
“I could finish this year but I want to continue at school until I’m 18 in case I decide to go to college. I don’t want to limit my options. You never know how things are going to work out.”
Beside doing an interview, Justin Bieber also did an acoustic set, singing a cover version of Usher’s “You Got It Bad” and his own songs “Baby” and “Never Let You Go”.
Watch the acoustic set here.
————————————————————————-Update: Justin’s camp said that the Sun who reported this diss is not telling the truth and now it seems that The Sun has deleted this quote from their own article. I checked the article again and it seems to be true. The Sun has erased the quote from the article. Shame on you!
No wonder. I was all confused when I saw it because everyone knows Mariah can sing and that Justin is not like that. Not only that but Justin and Nick Cannon are good friends. The Sun is horrible.
They should already that Justin only disses one person: Miley Cyrus. ahhhakakaka
The 4 hour attack was a response from angry Ke$ha supporters organized through ebaumsworld.com immediately after neonlimelight.com published an article mentioning JBShrine and our disapproval of Ke$ha’s comments towards Justin Bieber (Ke$ha makes a public apology to Justin Bieber). Specifically that she called him a “tiny little baby”.
We understand that Ke$ha probably meant it as a joke but when you’re in the public eye you need to watch what you say never mind putting insults into your lyrics (““In 10 years, Britney Spears…Britney, who?”).
Because of this attack, to protect all Beliebers, we have disabled the purple chat box up top until further notice. If you want to chat please do so in the Music Chat Room where there are moderators who can keep out haters.
Sorry for the inconvenience. And check back with JBShrine on this developing story.
Sincerely,
The Justin Bieber Shrine
PS. The Justin Bieber Shrine is also a Britney Spears supporter.
This girl should learn to shut her mouth. Calling someone a little baby is not nice especially when they are already 16. Stop bad mouthing Britney Spears and Justin you one hit wonder. Their careers will span much longer than yours.
And by the way, I have removed the Tik Tok Remix from this site. Her attitude does not belong here and neither does her music. And who the hell spells their name with a dollar sign? Simply no class.
Pop sensation Justin Bieber is unlikely to be seen cozying up with fellow teen star Miley Cyrus. The “One Less Lonely Girl” hitmaker ruled out possibility of him romancing the “Hannah Montana” star during a radio chat with Z100 DJ host TJ. Although praising Miley, he was quick to say, “Nooooooooo.. Not my type.”
During the interview, TJ kept on pressuring the 15-year-old to name someone in his age group that he would like to know a little better. Although he was consistent in saying that Beyonce Knowles is his crush, Justin did mention Selena Gomez. “I know you’re trying to get this answer out of me,” he said. “I think Selena Gomez is pretty, but I don’t like her. I think she is cute. I think she is a cutie.”
In the interview, Justin also talked about a number of other issues from recalling a crazy fan’s attack to discussing how it feels like being famous at 15. He also opened up the quality he seeks from his future lady love, “I look for just a nice laid-back funny girl who can make me laugh. Or just funny, down to earth and have a good smile.”
Justin Bieber has recently been involved in the recording of “We Are the World: 25 for Haiti”, which Miley Cyrus also took a part of. The Ludacris-collaborator in single “Baby” has also hit the stage together with Selena Gomez once. During their stage performance, the “Wizards of Waverly Place” beauty accompanied him in singing one of his hit songs, “One Less Lonely Girl”.
Ha ha. Had to put this picture back up just for laughs. Probably the only time you’ll see them together since this is the second time he’s dissed her. (Replace Miley’s face with yours)
