Justin’s signature hairdo is now no longer. Here’s a look back at the haircut that made him famous.
ET was with Justin Bieber at Madison Square Garden in New York City as he opens up to ET special correspondent Elisabeth Hasselbeck about whether he’d ever shave his head. He also discloses a surprise he has in store for Valentine’s Day, and he’s setting the record straight about his relationship status.
So, would he ever shave off his iconic floppy hairstyle? “I would definitely consider [shaving it off for a film role] because hair grows back,” he said.
As for his rumored romance with Selena Gomez, Bieber told Hasselbeck that he has girlfriends, clarifying that they are “girls that are friends.”
Justin Bieber’s hair is a very powerful thing. And with that power comes great responsibility expense.
But just how much does it cost to maintain the ‘do of a nail polish magnate who sends millions of preteen girls running headlong into puberty?
Word on the Internet street is that pretty boy Bieber ponies up a whopping $750 per salon visit (which occur every two weeks, adding up to a staggering $1,500 per month, or sweat-inducing $18,000 per year) in order to keep his shiny mop in a condition worthy of Selena Gomez’s fingers.
Which may be par for the course for some of Hollywood’s mane leading ladies, but for a 16-year-old dude? Could it be? Well, fire up the flatiron kids, this rumor is…
So false!
Earlier this week, Life & Style quoted the Biebs’ hairstylist Vanessa Price (who we can blame thank for creating the bangtastic ‘do in the first place) as ballparking his coiffure’s cost at a minimum of $750 per salon visit. She also said that she made house visits (swoon) and cuts his hair every two weeks on the road.
However, a rep for Bieber denies the figure to E! News, saying the report is “totally untrue.”
