Justin has been nominated for 2 top awards at the first ever YOUTUBE MUSIC AWARDS.
Nominees are drawn from YouTube’s most watched, shared, liked and subscribed-to artists of the past 12 months. Winners will be chosen by fan voting.
Youtube is how Justin was discovered and he is also the biggest artist to ever come out of Youtube so it would be nice to have him take home a YOUTUBE award, maybe 2.
Justin has been nominated in 2 categories:

The 2012 Billboard Music Awards is this Sunday and the polls have opened for the “Top Social Artist” category. The Top Social nominees are “web savvy artists who rule the Internet, making waves and racking up followers on Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube”. This has Justin’s name written all over it.
The finalists are:
Justin Bieber
Shakira
Lady Gaga
Rihanna
Eminem
I think in the end it’s gonna come down to the Beliebers vs Little Monsters. We know they are a force to be wreckon with.
So what are you waiting for? Justin is losing! Go vote.
UPDATE:
Wow just a couple of hours have passed and Justin is about to take has taken the lead from Shakira. Way to go!! I found 2 other categories to vote for JB:
The two pop stars will make cameo appearances alongside Hollywood director Tim Burton.
Justin Bieber and Lady Gaga will play aliens in the forthcoming movie, Men In Black 3. Director Barry Sonnenfeld said the pair will both make cameos on an alien surveillance board in the film, which will also feature a guest spot from Dark Shadows director Tim Burton.
“In this [film] there are a few people that you’ll see up on the surveillance board including Lady Gaga, Tim Burton, who probably knows more about aliens than I do, and let’s see who else… Justin Bieber,” he told Collider.
Just a few minutes ago Justin reached a huge milestone on Twitter. He has surpassed 20 million followers and is the second person in history to ever reach that point, behind Lady Gaga.
But this is not really true on Twitter last night. While most people thought the pics were amazing and hot, many fans thought the V Mag pictures make Justin look gay and girly. You would guess an argument like this wouldn’t be such a big deal right? Well it wouldn’t be if Justin didn’t find out about it. And apparently he did.
He saw what some people were saying and he ain’t liking it. A supposed “Belieber” even went as far as to call JB the biggest idiot for doing the photoshoot:
That’s pretty brutal. And that’s just one example. And why would this supposed “fan” have over 17000 Beliebers following her? (and damn @JBShrine only has 7000 🙁 Follow me please! )
When a fan DM’d Scooter to tell him about the situation online, Scooter says Justin knows about it:
To tell you the truth I actually didn’t like the V Magazine pictures that much. I was expecting nothing less than AMAZING. It just didn’t make sense to me. There’s really no connection in the pictures. That see-thru netting top should never be put on a guy never mind on the cover. Doesn’t the roman soldier pic looks like someone put a broken watermelon on his head? The make-up and photoshopping was too much. So yah personally I think they could have done a much better job. Justin deserves better. I also think these pics could be used by haters to make fun of JB. That’s just what I think.
I wonder how he’s feeling right now about the reactions to these pics. They are just out on the internet starting today and the magazine goes on sale Thursday. I say we’ll be hearing a lot of people’s opinions about this particular photoshoot in the next couple of days.
Btw, the person who did this photoshoot actually works for Lady Gaga.
Justin Bieber & Lady Gaga are the most charitable of them all!
For the second consecutive year, Gaga tops the Celebs Gone Good Top 20 list, courtesy of DoSomething.org. Hot on her heels is another pop superstar, Justin Bieber, who jumps to the No. 2 spot from last year’s position at No. 10.
Known for supporting gay rights, AIDS and poverty, Gaga focused much of her effort in 2011 on putting an end to bullying, even bringing her fight to the White House. This year, she also set up the Born This Way Foundation, which aims to empower youth.
Bieber continued his admirable work with Pencils of Promise this year, an organization which has built 41 schools in Laos, Nicaragua and Guatemala, founded by Adam Braun — brother of Bieber’s manager, Scott “Scooter” Braun.
In the last 12 months, the 17-year-old released a perfume in his name, as well as a holiday album titled Under The Misteltoe, donating a portion of proceeds to charity. Among the organizations to receive support from Bieber’s golden touch this year are the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Toronto’s Daily Bread Food Bank and Children’s Wish Foundation, as well as Whitney Elementary School in Las Vegas, Nevada, to name a few.
