A bodyguard in Justin’s security team has been arrested in Kauai, Hawaii.
Justin went to Shipwreck’s Beach yesterday to jump off the cliff there. A photographer was there snapping pictures of JB until one of Justin’s bodyguards approached him and demanded the pictures be deleted. When the photog refused, he claimed that the bodyguard, Dwayne Patterson, assaulted him and damaged his camera.
The photographer was not hurt but Patterson was booked for third degree assault and 4th degree criminal property damage and was released on $3,000 bail.
Wow this South American leg of the Believe Tour is turning out to be one to remember. Justin has officially been charged by the police in Brazil for painting graffiti in Rio de Janeiro illegally.
When I first saw those pics of Justin partying it up at NOx nightclub I thought it was weird that they let him in since he is considered underage in the USA (you got to be at least 21 to drink).
I just thought maybe the rules there were different in the States because surely they would know that anywhere JB goes it would be photographed and publicized everywhere.
Well sure enough the club is now under investigation for underage drinking. Someone from bar management told TMZ that Justin was only served water. But a rep for the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission says a complaint has now been filed and an investigation has been launched.
If they found out that Justin was indeed drinking, the bar’s license to serve alcohol will be taken away. Justin on the other hand will not get in any trouble because he was not caught in the act.
Justin! If you want to drink then just come back to Canada. It’s legal here 🙂
Back on June 5, Justin had his friends take a Miami paparazzi’s camera. Justin didn’t steal the camera but he did take the sim card out and kept it. I’m not sure what went on but above is a recording of the incident. Now the photographer, Gustavo Garces, wants to sue and had his lawyer forward a letter to Justin’s management informing them that he needs the sim card back as evidence in the lawsuit. Below is the letter.
At this time the city of Los Angeles is still deciding whether to charge Justin for reckless driving.
If you haven’t been following the story….
A couple of weeks ago Justin was accused of speeding recklessly in his gated community in Calabasas, the same neighborhood where Paris Jackson lives. 2 witnesses, NFL players Keyshawn Johnson and Eric Dickerson, have said they witnessed Justin behind the wheel of the car but as Keyshawn approached the car to confront Justin at Justin’ garage, he claimed Justin changed seats with Tyler the Creator at the last minute so as to not get caught. Tyler claimed he was behind the wheel the whole time. The main concern was that not that the car was speeding but that this was a dangerous stunt because there were children present.
Since the incident Justin’s legal team had submitted a security video taken from Justin’s home that they say proves JB was not the driver. The video shows Justin getting off a motorcycle, then getting into the Ferrari and parking it in his garage.
The police ain’t buying it. They say the video does not prove that Justin was not the person behind the wheel during the speeding. The investigation is still going on and a decision has not been made whether to charge Justin.
All I can say is that no matter what happens I would really like to see Justin get rid of these new friends. I do not like Tyler the Creator and Lil Twist. They’re bad news and are using JB for his money. They need to get a job and just get lost.
Ok this is sort of ridiculous. A woman in Portland, Oregon by the name of Stacey Wilson Betts took her daughter to Justin’s concert on July 14, 2010. If a Justin Bieber concert wasn’t loud as it is, Betts claims Justin made the situation for her ears much worse when he blasted sounds at her!!
Ok he didn’t blast sounds directly at her but that’s sorta what she’s saying. It all started when he got on his heart-shaped gondola and sang with his guitar. He then would encourage fans to scream by waving his hands and pointing at different sections of the arena. And when he pointed to her section the gondola became a “sound conductor” and screams from the fans in her section blasted her ears off. I’m guess the hanging gondola must be right over her head at the moment the damage occurred.
In the suit, Betts claims Bieber “created a wave like effect of screaming by pointing into various sections of the arena. Then enticed the crowd into a frenzy of screams by continuously waving his arms in a quick and upward motion.”
Betts says the gondola acted as a “sound conductor creating a sound blast that permanently damaged both of my ears.”
As a result, Betts claims she now suffers from tinnitus … which causes a constant pulsing, whooshing shound that makes it hard to sleep. She also complains of other hearing-related damage.
I’m sorry that this happened to this lady but when there’s tens of thousands of people at the concert (and not just in this one city) and only one person gets hearing damage maybe it’s not any else’s fault. Maybe you just have weak ears and shouldn’t be going to music concerts at all let alone a Justin Bieber concert!
She’s now suing Justin, this record label, and the arena for $9.23 million for causing her permanent ear damage. Do you think Justin should be responsible for her hearing loss?
Most of you probably already know this bit of news already while I was away from Belieberland but I think it’s important to make a post on it.
On Sunday, May 27, 2012 Justin and Selena went to the Calabasas Commons to watch a movie. On their way out of the parking lot a photographer blocked their van from leaving. Justin repeated asked the guy to move aside but the paparazzi refused. A frustrated JB then got out of the van they were in and got into an argument with the paparazzi.
The two exchanged words and Justin got really mad. Selena tried to calm him down. What happens next is still unclear but the paparazzi claims that Justin hit him in the face and chest. When the police and paramedics arrived on the scene Justin and Selena had already left.
A lawyer who happened to be at the scene went up to the paparazzi afterwards and told him he could make a lot of money from the Biebz and advised him to call for an ambulance and file a police report, which was what he ended up doing.
Now prosecutors want to speak to Justin and Selena to get their side of the story. If Justin is charged and convicted of criminal battery he could go to jail for 6 months.
I think this whole story is kinda ridiculous. Yes photographers have the right to take pictures but they do not have a right to block people’s cars. There really needs to be a paparazzi law in California. Papz are known to try to cause shit to get celebs all worked up and mad so they can get their money shot. The more mad the celebs look in the picture the more money they get.
But don’t worry. I don’t think anything will happen to JB. I’m sure there’s enough witnesses around to testify that the pap refused to move out of the way provoking Justin to get mad.
Justin will be interviewed once he gets back from Europe. He’s currently in Norway.
