Justin has confirmed a movie is coming! I wonder what kind of movie JB has in the works. Could this be the long awaited basketball movie Mark Wahlberg keeps talking about? Maybe “Never Say Never 2.0”? I really want to see Justin in a comedy or drama though.
Mark Walhberg was just in Australian for the premiere of his new movie Contraband and The Hot Hits managed to get some dirt on where they’re at with Justin’s new basketball drama movie that they are making together.
“We’re developing a script right now. That’s another thing. I’m calling writer after writer after writer telling them to hurry up with the scripts.
“We’re hoping to do a movie together, a drama, where I kind of play a reluctant mentor to him in an inner city environment.”
“But you know what, people are gonna be really surprised at how good he’s gonna be in this movie,” Mark said.
Looks like it’s going to be a feel good, tear jerk drama. Can’t wait to see him in a movie!!
Ok I love Reese. And I know she wasn’t trying to be mean but just being funny but when MTV asked her about Justin being in the remake of “Fear” (which I have told you is NOT gonna happen) she said:
“Would he be playing me, or is he playing Mark Wahlberg?”
She did add:
“Girls get crazy about him…I didn’t know much about him until I saw the documentary…it made me think what a sweetheart!”
Well there’s no denying it now. Justin was spotted with Selena leaving a friend’s house yesterday and it is obvious that Justin has dyed his hair a much darker color. But why?
If this is true then JB’s got a really busy schedule having to both produce a new album and film a movie at the same time. Justin has said that his new album “Believe” should be out February or March and Scooter said it should be summer at the earliest. If the filming of the movie has indeed started then it seems that Scooter is probably the one that is right. Guess we might have to wait longer for the new album.

Mark Walhberg has a lot of faith in Justin and believes JB has what it takes to pull off a dramatic role in an upcoming basketball movie. After spending time with the Biebs Mark explains why….
“Intuition. I’m pretty intuitive. I see the guy and spent time with him, and you see what he does and how he does it, and then you actually have a conversation with him, and it’s there. It’s there — and if not, I will extract it.”
“Wait till you see me and Bieber in the flick. Think of, like, ‘The Color of Money’. So I get this call from Paramount [with a story about] an old guy and a young guy. I’m like, ‘Cool, let’s get Jack Nicholson. Let’s get Robert De Niro. Let’s get Robert Duvall.’ And they go, ‘What about Garrett Hedlund?’ I’m like, ‘For what?’ ” he further recalled. “They’re like, ‘For the young guy.'”
Thank god they decided on JB instead of Garrett Hedlund. Besides, Justin has already made Paramount a whole ton of money from “Never Say Never” the movie so having JB in this basketball movie will help them make even more money!
Ah ha! I wasn’t sure exactly which movie Justin was talking about when he said he’s working on a script for a movie for 2012 and now he’s confirmed it himself. Justin’s new movie is definitely the drama basketball movie with Mark Wahlberg.
