The Miami Heat played the Chicago Bulls in Chicago Miami tonight and guess who the cameras caught watching the game? “Mr Justin Bieber”!
Justin and Ryan Butler were at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto today watching the Raptor’s opening game against the Indiana Pacers. Justin must be loving it cuz he’s been posting about the game all day on Twitter, Instagram, and TwitVid. He even shared a picture of how he prepares a public toilet before using it. There was not much basketball on TV this year because the NBA players were locked out for a long time. Now that the lockout is over the NBA worked with Justin & Busta Rhymes to help promote the game with their hit “Drummer Boy” off JB’s Christmas album.
Probably cause he’s shorter than the other ones and they can’t see him…?
IDK xD
But that’s an ouch!
UPDATE:
Adding the following video to the post. Here’s a bloopers video of JB not only getting hit in the head (I’m so sure the shoulder hit was on purpose) but he fell face flat right in the middle of the game and getting quite mad! Those guys on the other team are mean! Poor Justy! 🙁
Check out the slowmo:
The singer scores eight points, loses, but manages to win the fans votes…and a few screams.
Justin Bieber might not have won his Grammy award, but he took the MVP for the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game on Friday night.
Bieber was voted by fans as the game’s Most Valuable Player, scoring eight points to go along with four assists, in his East team’s defeat. He drew the loudest cheers with his ballhandling, a few slick passes and several glances toward the crowd. He also featured a killer haircut.
NBA Hall-of-Famer Scottie Pippen scored 15 points for the West team, leading to a 54-49 victory over the East.
THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER
If you keep up with Justin Bieber, then you know that the 16-year-old sensation has some basketball skills. On February 18, the Biebster is planning to put them to good use when he hits the court to headline the 2011 BBVA NBA All-Star Celebrity Game in Los Angeles.
Bieber is just one of many celebs in this year’s basketball game, including Ty Burrell, Rob Kardashian, Zachary Levi, Jason Alexander and Common. NBA luminaries expected to hit the court include Magic Johnson, Scottie Pippen, Bill Walton, AC Green, B.J. Armstrong as well as players-turned sports analysts Chris Mullin and Jalen Rose.
Comedian Jimmy Kimmel will serve as the event’s general manager for one team, while ESPN columnist Bill Simmons leads the other team. A complete list of participants, including WNBA players, will be announced at a later date.
On MTV’s “The Diary of Justin Bieber,” which premiered back in March, the singer drained a half-court shot while the cameras were rolling, so it will be interesting to see what he can pull off on the All-Star court.
Whether you’re a Belieber or not, it’ll be hard to miss the singer in February. Not only will the teen idol be featured in two commercials on Super Bowl Sunday, but his heavily promoted feature-film debut, “Never Say Never,” hits theaters nationwide February 11. Days later, the star is set to take the stage alongside Jaden Smith and Usher at the 53rd annual Grammys, where he’s nominated for two awards. JB will also return to “CSI” on February 17, where his character may be killed off.
