A bodyguard in Justin’s security team has been arrested in Kauai, Hawaii.
Justin went to Shipwreck’s Beach yesterday to jump off the cliff there. A photographer was there snapping pictures of JB until one of Justin’s bodyguards approached him and demanded the pictures be deleted. When the photog refused, he claimed that the bodyguard, Dwayne Patterson, assaulted him and damaged his camera.
The photographer was not hurt but Patterson was booked for third degree assault and 4th degree criminal property damage and was released on $3,000 bail.
Wow this South American leg of the Believe Tour is turning out to be one to remember. Justin has officially been charged by the police in Brazil for painting graffiti in Rio de Janeiro illegally.
TMZ has posted the audio from the 911 calls from the paparazzi chase last Friday. Apparently absolutely nobody knows what a Fisker Karma is. And a man even described it as a spaceship! lol
Last Friday July 6, 2012, on his way to film his new music video for “As Long As You Love Me” in Los Angeles, Justin was spotted speeding on the Pacific Coast Highway in California at dangerous speeds in his Fisker Karma.
TMZ says that 10 people called the police to report that someone was weaving in and out of traffic and driving at speeds over 100 mph (that’s 160 kilometers per hour, wowzers!).
One of those people was L.A. City Councilman Dennis Zine who says Justin should be arrested for driving recklessly.
Justin Bieber getting a speeding ticket by police on July 6, 2012
The police caught up with Justin and gave him a speeding ticket for driving 80 mph. Justin told them he was being harassed by the paparazzi who was chasing him down the highway. He said there were 5 cars following him and that one paparazzi in particular was going overboard being way too aggressive.
The policeman advised Justin to call 911 if they continue to chase him, which was exactly what Justin did shortly after. You can listen to Justin’s 911 call here.
Later that afternoon the police went to Justin’s music video set shoot to take a statement about the aggressive paparazzi complaint. Apparently it didn’t take much to find the offending paparazzi as he was right there at the video shoot too trying to take more pictures of Justin. The police took a statement from that paparazzi there also.
Paparazzi can be such buttheads but Justin really need to slow down for his own safety. This isn’t the first time Justin has been involved in a high speed chase with the paparazzi. Last year Justin, Selena Gomez, and Kenny Hamilton was also in a high speed chase with the papz while Jelena was in Stratford visiting family.
This is the 911 call Justin made shortly after being ticketed for speeding on the PCH last Friday. (If you’re unclear as to what happened I’ll try to explain in the next post.)
Despite his worldwide fame, Justin Bieber is still obligated to obey the law. The boyfriend of Selena Gomez found himself being told by a Los Angeles police officer to move his $100,000 Fisker Karma on Easter Sunday, April 8 because it was illegally parked outside shops in Beverly Hills, California.
Bieber was strolling along the streets when he was approached by the cop. At the time, the “Baby” hitmaker was wearing a white jacket, matching T-shirt and baseball cap, a pair of blue jeans and sunglasses. The whole incident was captured by paparazzi’s camera, displaying that the officer was all smiles as he explained the situation to the teen singer.
According to TMZ, Justin’s Fisker Karma electric car is violating California law. Law enforcement say the problem is the row of purple lights hidden under Justin’s front grill. Apparently in California the only lights you can legally have facing forward are white and orange, not purple! And another violation is the tint on his windows. They are too dark! TMZ says that if he doesn’t get it changed soon he’ll most likely get ticketed for both.
