Who is this Poo Bear and why is this the second time we’ve heard of his name?

A couple of weeks ago I posted that Justin’s BAD DAY is not an original song. Apparently a guy by the name of Poo Bear had already recorded the track and that Justin’s was a cover of that song.

Now it turns out that Justin and R Kelly’s PYD is also a remake of Boo Bears’ too!

@xavierleeds: THE ORIGINAL VERSION OF PYD. BEFORE IT WAS CHANGED. “DYD (DICK YOU DOWN)”

So PYD was originally supposed to be DYD for DICK YOU DOWN. Weird right? There you have it!

UPDATE: Poo Bear is a producer who’s working with Justin.

Justin Bieber – PYD featuring R Kelly Lyrics

Justin Bieber:
PYD PYD PYD PYD
PYD PYD PYD PYD
I’mma put you down (down)
PYD PYD PYD PYD
PYD PYD PYD PYD
I’mma put you down
All the way down

From the door
To the wall
Coffee table
Girl get ready
I’mma put you down
All the way down

From the stove
To the counter top
Dining room table
Are you ready?
I’mma put you down

Up the stairs
To my bedroom
Light a few candles
Prepare yourself
I’mma put you down
All the way down

On a plane
A train
An automobile
Doesn’t matter
I’mma put you down
All the way down

And it don’t make no sense to be that bad
I’mma take it out on you, babe
Put you down
This will show you
How much I love you
A form of appreciation
I’mma put you down

Oh cause you deserve the best
And nothing but the best
So I’ll give you the best you’ve ever had
I’mma put you down
I’mma put you down

R Kelly:
On the roof balcony
We don’t care who sees
Girl, I’mma put you down
All the way down, down, down

After the club
In the parking lot
I don’t care anywhere
You could pick the spot whatever
I’mma put you down, yeah
All the way down

Cause I’ve been doing forensics
On your body in this club
And I could tell the way you walk
Your body ain’t been touched the right way
It seems your man been treating you like a step child
Sum him out, sum me in
And I’mma get it on the floor
And shut the whole game down
Until I hear you cheering babe
Have you spell it out my name babe
See I wanna give my love
Be your dope man in the bedroom
You can make me your drug babe
And it make no sense to be that bad (oh no baby)
I’m gonna put you down
Gonna show you how much I love you
A form of appreciation

Oh cause you deserve the best
And nothing but the best
So I’ll give you the best you’ve ever had
I’m gonna put you down
I’m gonna put you down
All the way down

Both:
Oh, cause you deserve the best
And nothing but the best
So I’ll give you the best you’ve ever had
I’mma put you down
I’mma put you down
I’mma put you down yeah
I’mma put you down
I’mma put you down
All the way down
PYD PYD PYD PYD
I’mma put you down
PYD PYD PYD PYD
PYD PYD PYD PYD
PYD PYD PYD PYD

I made a post earlier thinking the next song coming from #journals was called “Alone”. Sorry I was wrong. “Alone” could be next week’s song or something. This Monday’s song is titled “PYD” and it’s the one with R Kelly that we’ve been waiting for. Can’t wait to hear it! Oh and PYD stands for “Put You Down”

justinb-beiber-rkelly-drakeTwo weeks ago Justin sent out these two tweets sparking speculation that collaborations with both Drake and R Kelly are in the works. Drake and JB are close so there’s no surprise that they would collaborate in the future, but R Kelly??

It’s now official.

Last night at the listening party for his upcoming album, R Kelly confirmed to VIBE that they have indeed made a track together.

“I just did a song [with him],” R. Kelly said. “[Justin] just called me to do a song and it’s hot. He wanted to go and do some R&B stuff so we got together and did that.”

This is gonna be sick. I love R Kelly’s soulful music! I wonder if the song will be released as part of #Journals…

The teen phenom who’s moved countless fans with his story, music and charity work draws his own motivation from Michael Jackson, R. Kelly and more.

Anyone who’s seen Justin Bieber’s hit movie Never Say Never knows that it is all about inspiration — his story has motivated millions of fans to reach for their dreams, and his music inspired those same loyalists’ parents to hop to their feet.

Throw in his charity work with Pencils of Promise and the Make-A-Wish Foundation, both receiving portions of the profits from sales of his Someday fragrance, and you couldn’t ask for a better meeting of hearts, minds and tunes.

So what motivates this great giver? We asked Bieber, who hit the studio with Chris Brown on Monday, to list five songs he finds inspiring, including a couple of his own.

Man In the Mirror” by Michael Jackson

“You can feel the emotion in what he’s saying, and how it’s about looking into yourself. The message behind it is great. It’s a really inspiring song.”

I Believe I Can Fly” by R. Kelly

“This song is kind of like Never Say Ever, where anything is possible, and you just have to believe. It’s definitely uplifting.”

Dear God” by Boyz II Men

“My mom has been listening to Boyz II Men ever since I was little. It was always on in the house. Now, this song is in my iTunes.”

Down to Earth” by Justin Bieber

“It’s about my parents splitting up when I was really little and about the struggles I went through and am still going through. I think that’s inspiring because so many kids’ parents are divorced nowadays.”

Never Say Never” by Justin Bieber, featuring Jaden Smith

“We actually did the song ‘Never Say Never’ first, so in a way it inspired the movie, which is basically about me, a small town kid, being able to live his dream and be successful. The message is don’t ever give up, so I think it was perfect for that.”
