Justin Bieber and Robert Pattinson used last night’s Golden Globe awards in Los Angeles to reveal their brand new stylish hairdos.
Teen pop sensation Bieber is famed for his moptop haircut but yesterday he decided to opt for a more sophisticated do for the annual awards ceremony.
Getting rid of his trademark thick hair that usually sprawls across his forehead, he had his fringe thinned out making him look sharper and sleeker.
Perhaps he wanted to go for a more mature look, given that at 16 he’s one of the biggest stars in the world, or perhaps he was trying to minimise opportunities for Golden Globes host Ricky Gervais taking a witty dig at him at his expense.
Wearing a black Dolce and Gabbana tuxedo, and looking like he was finally grown up enough to have a job, the Baby singer showed he wasn’t letting go of his young age completely by teaming the smart outfit with a pair of bright white trainers.
The Canadian singer was reporting about the event for TV broadcasters NBC as well as presenting the Golden Globe for the best animated movie.
Clearly excited at the event, he later tweeted: ‘Backstage at the Golden Globes. Everyone is here. This is nuts!! Halle Berry was at my table,’ before later adding: ‘De Niro is the man.’
Twilight hunk R-Pattz also took to the bash sporting his new head of red hair but made sure to keep in his usual dishevelled look so he would at least still be recognisable.

Speaking to E! Onine, the British actor put losing his brown locks down to his hectic filming schedule: ‘I had to keep switching it between two movies’ but added he ‘thought it was a nice change.’
