A teen girl trio are about to take the charts by storm – thanks to their No1 fan Justin Bieber.
The pop sensation loves the west London outfit SoundGirl so much that he tweeted about them to his fans and put them on his UK tour.
Olivia, 17, Izzy B, 16 and baby of the group, Little Nikki, 14, are just about managing to keep their cool as their career launches into orbit – after heartthrob Justin stepped in.
The girls, who formed as SoundGirl just last year, met him while staying at the same Los Angeles hotel.
“Everything has happened so quickly,” Olivia said. “We had found out Justin was staying in our hotel when we were recording the album last year. We knocked on various doors trying to find him then we knocked on one door and found out it was Justin’s room. We got a picture with him, then he came to meet us before he checked out. We never thought we’d see him again but when he came to London we met him again and he offered us the tour. He tweeted, ‘Soundgirl are hot’ and that was a good thing for us.'”
The tour slots with Bieber have led to their fan base soaring – from 2000 followers, they now have 12,000.
Olivia added: “We have just finished the tour dates with Justin who we spent loads of time with. He is such a megastar, we didn’t expect to see him. But it was the complete opposite. We were with him and Willow Smith and they were pulling pranks which were so funny. They were really cool kids and so much fun to be with. Justin is the biggest act in the world yet so supportive. It is incredible. He has given us the thumbs-up. He really likes us.”
