Selena! Are you watching?? Do you like this new greeting style? lololol
Justin should greet all his fans like this from now on. Hugs are so old fashion. 😛
Posing with his latest trophy, Justin Bieber hit the red carpet at NYU Paulson Auditorium in NYC for The 3rd Annual Tribeca Disruptive Innovation Awards this afternoon (April 27).
Clad in a cool black and white jacket, white tee, chain-adorned skinny jeans and matching sneaker, the “Never Say Never” hunk turned his eye to the shutterbugs as as his clinched his hammer-shaped prize.
The 18-year-old heartthrob earned the award for changing the face of pop stars – pushing the limit and taking the time to connect with fans, especially through social media.
Before being recognized at the show, Justin had the TFF in a frenzy as he stopped to take pictures and sign autographs for unsuspecting fans.

The Biebs global domination of 2012 continues. With ‘Boyfriend’ all over the place and a clip of the video set to premiere on ‘The Voice‘ tomorrow night (April 16), Justin Bieber is completely dominating the media landscape. Not even the Tribeca Film Festival, held every year in New York City, is immune to Bieber Fever.
Both The Biebs and his manager Scooter Braun (also the manager of The Wanted) are being honored with a 2012 Tribeca Disruptive Innovation Award, which celebrated “leading disruptive innovators” who have impacted the worlds of business, technology, arts and entertainment. That certainly sounds like our boy Bieber and his career guider Braun.
The terrific twosome “will be honored for the historic discovery of Bieber on YouTube and his subsequent social media rise,” according to a post on the festival’s official website. The festival obviously looks at trends in the all media, including social, and Bieber is certainly emblematic of web-created superstardom.
Congrats to the Biebs and Braun for this recognition. They will reportedly be on hand to accept the award in person. This year’s TFF runs from April 18 through April 19.
