Although Lady Gaga in heavily considered the big winner Tuesday with 13 nominations for the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards (airing September 12), Justin Bieber also received some love in the Best New Artist category.
So what was the “Baby” singer’s response to all of the attention? Justin shared his thoughts in a new post on his Twitter page:
“Just found I was nominated for Best New Artist at the VMA’s! WOW!! I remember walking the red carpet last year and no one knew my name … thank you to @mtv im honored and congrats to all the nominees and to @ladygaga for her record breaking 13 noms. That’s pretty pretty good.”
Bieber also cleared up some recent rumors regarding a book being made about him — he’s not working on a memoir, but rather publishing a book full of exclusive stuff surrounding his tour.
