Justin Bieber fights bullying, brings Casey Heynes on stage

Justin Bieber has demonstrated what a big heart he really has, by bringing bullied Australian boy Casey Heynes on stage at his first Melbourne concert.

Casey rose to fame earlier this year when a YouTube clip of him fighting back against a school bully went viral. He was hailed as a hero, and the “gentle giant” became a symbol of the ongoing campaign against bullying.

During his Melbourne concert, Justin stopped for a moment and told the crowd he wanted to talk about bullying. He asked if anyone had ever been bullied or seen anyone be bullied, and then started to tell Casey’s story and explained how he stood up himself.

The crowd cheered when Casey stepped on stage, and then Justin got Casey to say those three special words – “never say never”.

As Casey left the stage, Justin broke out into ‘Never Say Never’, and the crowd went wild.

This is one of the many reasons why I love Justin, when he does stuff like this for people. Him and Casey are both so inspirational. Poor Casey, I felt so bad for him watching that vid 🙁 Its great how he finally stood up for himself and I respect him for that. Justin also knows what its like being bullied, since he’s still being bullied every day of his life. People need to wake up and stop this horrible behavior, and think what the victim feels like when they get bullied.

Sad but true, the bullies are many, and they do not care about such stuffs ,who knows if they have brain problems or there was a event in their pasts..or if there WASN’T a event in their pasts that normally happens to everyone….Casey’s luck was that he was stronger then that tiny kid, but when the bully is FAR bigger stronger and with other bully friends too, you can’t really do much , I’ve seen many in my life…from simple calling names…to broken arms and legs and teeth…or even bleeding head.

This chubby was 15 and the boy who “attacked” him was 12 and the chubby body slammed the little boy and could have killed him, so one is not a hero if one nearly kills a much younger and much smaller and much thinner boy, even if this one may have called him some name…

Sorry to say, but you must be completely retarded to make such a statement.
Casey has most likely been scarred for life due to the harsh bullying he has been put through in his school, and he snapped – after some kid goes into a frenzy towards him, and he finally attacks back after being punched several times.

I am proud and happy for Casey, and hope everyone else is too, it takes alot of courage from his side.

      Many regards, J.

  • Justin, check out my children’s book DON’T CALL ME MICHAEL. It would a great story to suggest to kids so they can talk about bullying. It has had great reviews from schools, teachers, parents, and kids. We need to offer as many options as possible to help kids deal with bullies and DON’T CALL ME MICHAEL is a wonderful story that can open discussions.
    Thank you.
