On July 14 2011 Justin Bieber joined Lady Gaga by hitting the 11 million mark in Twitter followers. The two are well up on the guy in 3rd, Barack Obama.
He’s done done it again, Justin Bieber, reached another milestone in popularity. On July 14, 2011 the Biebs hit the 11 million mark when it comes to Twitter followers. He’s not number one, that title belongs to Lady 
Gaga, but after her Bieber is the only other to have achieved 11 million followers. Barack Obama is in 3rd spot with a paltry 9 million.
Bieber, at the 2011 ESPY Awards with Selena Gomez while his Twitter count was climbing to the big number, learned about it later as, after tweeting musings from his evening with superstar athletes he noted all the congrats on his twitter page from fans about 11 million. His response?
“#11MillionBeliebers! I LOVE YOU ALL!! THANK YOU….tonight was already a fun great night and now it is even better. THANK U THANK U THANK U.”
