  Hate it that he hangs out with an abusive felon. Hate it even more that said abusive felon seems to be let so easily off the hook by the world, yet if he wasn’t famous and just any typical guy who had done the shit he did, no one would give him the time of day, and would actually treat the guy how he is supposed to be treated – like the abusive criminal that he is.

      Abusers rarely change, and if you’ve observed any of the actions of Chris brown over the past years as is, it’s easy to see that he certainly hasn’t. He has acted violently, childishly, immaturely, and sociopathically in many ways. If it was your sister, mother, hell, even yourself who had been so horribly violated, I doubt you’d be saying this shit. Forgive? Sure. Hang out with or pretend as if it never happened? No fucking way. You know what that tells society? That tells society, “Hey, abuse is okay. It’s okay to accept violent abusive felons.” You know what it tells survivors of abuse? It tells them, “Hey, this violent criminal violated and hurt you horribly, but your pain and suffering as a result is not important, and we don’t care about you and what you have suffered and will continue to suffer for the rest of your life.” Rihanna so willingly accepting him and collaborating with him tells her fellow survivors, “Hey, it’s okay to go back to the people who committed unspeakable crimes against you.” None of these messages are true, and are not the ones that should be being taught.

      Another thing to ask yourself – would you say all of this about a rapist? Would you say rapists change? Hardly anyone is willing to say that, because they know it’s not true, and completely out of line to say such a thing. Physical abusers have the same mentality as rapists, just without the sexual aspect.

        If you don’t understand or agree with my comment, you clearly have no understanding on the psychology of abusers, and have no proper education on abusive situations, and have never been through abusive situation yourself. I have been through them. I have also been thoroughly educated in criminology, abusers, and crime in general. Nice try though.

        If you disagree, you can politely and respectfully say you disagree, and you can politely say why. There’s no need for you to be a bitch and use statements that you aren’t even backing up. This can be discussed civilly. I have no desire to have a mean-spirited fight with anyone. I just want people to realize how wrong this Chris Brown stuff is and actually understand it.

        Dude, my dad has hit my mom several times before in the past. They got into the fight most likely like the one Chris and Rhianna got into… Than he stopped drinking, and party now. Now when he get angry he walks away. Chris most likely has angry issues. Yet, if he is abusing drugs or drinking it makes him not controllable. He most likely still does that. That is why Rhianna is most likely not dating him anymore. Yet, there was a time when society didn’t like him. He don’t appear on double-mint commercials anymore. He suffered for he did. He can never again be teenage pop. He had to change his music, and singing style to “fit” his new image. All Justin is doing is hanging out with the dude. I am sure if Chris abuses women again Justin will not hang out with him and his career will be over. It has been over several years now since he has hit another woman. I think he has changed.

        I’m sorry to hear about what your mother went through, and I’m sorry you have an abusive dad. I am glad he has learned to manage his anger better, but Chris has not. That can clearly be seen from many news stories on him recently. He has been violent and lashed out in unhealthy ways in the past three years. And this didn’t happen several years ago. It happened three years ago. He hardly suffered for what he did. Suffering for what he did would have been spending REAL time in jail, and being treated how non-famous abusers get treated. If he’d suffered for it, then he wouldn’t have a music career, and he wouldn’t be winning awards.

        Maybe some people who have anger issues or abusive behavior problems can change their behaviors, but it doesn’t mean that all of them can, and Chris clearly hasn’t changed. And thank you for being respectful in your response.

I believe in the power of forgiveness though, but this isn’t about forgiveness. This is about the fact that people seem to ignore what he did and not care about it, when what he did was terrible. It wasn’t just a mistake like what normal people make. It was a terrible crime. There’s a difference between normal humans who make mistakes and criminals.

I always feel like im the only one and everyone has magically forgotten about what he did to Rihanna. Im not even a big Rihanna fan, I just stand up for womens rights.
