ahh um a little rusty.. ok it was brutal as much as i hate to say it. Wonder what was up because that was pretty bad.. But he hasn’t performed in a while so that could be yet, thats probaly why..
I wouldn’t say it was totally horrible but I agree he was kinda rusty~ He almost started rapping at the wrong part but saved it! I think he is just a little too busy trying to be something else…Maybe its just me tho~
I didn’t think his rapping was bad. I thought his voice was, he was off on some of the notes. But it happens to everyone, I still love him. And knowing Justin he probably wasn’t pleased with himself and will work on it and be awesome next time.
I get that he wants a mature performance… but don’t risk vocals for mature performance… that is how other child stars failed. He could been up there with a guitar and did better than he did tonight.

Thank you. Did you catch the girl at the beginning of the performance? The dance on the way down right in front of him? I think it is a little too early in this adult career for dancers to start dancing like that. Even Britney dancers didn’t do things like that until recently. The dance moves I just feel like got too mature too fast. Dance performance of adult career and it is filled dancing that is going to turn away a lot of his younger fans. Momma are not going to let their babies watch things like that. If he wants his music to be for everyone than his performances need to match that. Actions speak loaders than words.

ehh I love Justin and it was still an awesome performance but his vocals weren’t really that great. And I know if some of us are thinking that it wasn’t the best vocals, then he is probably going 10 times harder on himself. 🙁 aww
Aw, its just a part of being an artist tho. You wanna be the best and do your best. But being able to do that has everything to do with staying in your lane. Seems like he is catering more to his critics than his fans…#ijs

Yes it wasn’t his best performance, but being on a live show it’s hard to set up your sound equipment in a short amid of time, so I don’t think that helped much. Plus dancing and singing is really hard! Still love bieber, not his best live performance, but I’m not gonna stop being a belieber for 1 rusty performance out Of the 100s o flawless ones he has performed!! <3

this was horrible…. i thought he’s been practicing for weeks? where is mama jan bc his vocals sounded seriously terrible. He can’t rap live and he obviously can’t transition well from rapping to singing in a falsetto… or even into singing. Justin is breaking my heart! I know he can do better than this!!
Well this wasn’t his best performance and there can be many reasons why it’s so bad… But to say that he can’t rap live and go from rapping to singing that is not true… Haven’t you ever heard him perform his xmas song Drummer Boy live…? He’s rapping that perfectly fine… Maybe he had problems with his voice that day, maybe the sound was bad… we don’t know that… Let’s wait till the tour before we judge his live performance.
To: Michelle 🙂 So true! This was only 1 performance, and I think he was just VERY nervous… and when he was performing live on “This Is Justin Bieber 2011” he sounded amazing! I think it was just some places where it sounded bad, the rest of the performance was awesome… and he was singing good most of the time. And it’s hard to performe a song like that while dancing. he is an artist who has been overwhelmed. from youtube to stardom
is difficult. He will never sing as he did @ 13,14. he’s a celebrity and
may not sound mature until after 21. P.S. he was never an ‘amazing’

it wasn’t his best, but it was still amazing. his dancing has gotten so much better, & it is really hard to dance & sing so it’s alright. he did incredible for not performing in a while. he’ll get better when he’s used to the crowds again & having to sing live. don’t worry. & when he did the pelvic thrust, my life ended. that was the best moment of my life. follow me on twitter! @alyssalucas11
I don’t think his earpiece and mic were working correctly from the beginning and that threw him off. If you watch it like a non-Belieber u gonna like it. Becuz we know the good stuff we are more critical. Just like when he performed in Belfast at the MTV music awards, he messed up then too. So, if anyone is setup over his performance it will be @justinbieber himself. You could tell by the look on his face after the performance he was not happy. You can be sure next time we see him sing this song it will be much better.
Yeah and the sound in Belfast was horrible… Everyone who performed live on that show sounded like shit… just saying 🙂 It’s not always the singers fault when they do a bad live performing 🙂

The look of the performance was great. The dancing was great. It was not too mature. It was just right, and he did an excellent job with the moves. It was a good-looking performance. That being said …
Absolutely terrible vocals. Some of the worst I’ve heard from him. He clearly has not gotten rid of his break (break is that point where you switch from chest voice to falsetto), which he should have gotten rid of by now, especially in making a song with a huge chest-falsetto transition. Is he still working with a vocal coach? He needs to be, and needs to be working with them a lot. There were some good notes, but he didn’t hit near enough of them, and he hit NONE of the high notes. This isn’t going to help him prove to the people who he is trying to gain fans in. This isn’t going to help the large amounts of people who’ve never even given him a chance and write him off as talentless immediately because of how popular he is. It’s just going to contribute to that misconception of him. I get that he’s not perfect, and I love the guy, but I have to be honest about what I saw and heard. This was not his best. He can do so much better.
And that is the cold hard truth.
