Justin Bieber‘s gone country!

The 17-year-old singing sensation hit up the Country Music Television Awards on Wednesday evening in Nashville, and was accompanied by some very special guests — hit country group Rascal Flatts!

While his girlfriend Selena Gomez was no where in sight (at least for now) he did bring along another important lady in his life.

His momma!

Looking cute in a black and white ensemble, Justin and the men of Rascal Flatts posed for pics. They’re nominated for their collaboration on the song “That Should Be Me.”

Justin tweeted:

“In route to the CMT’s! Up for best collaboration with @rascalflatts ! Leggo!”
