If you keep up with Justin Bieber, then you know that the 16-year-old sensation has some basketball skills. On February 18, the Biebster is planning to put them to good use when he hits the court to headline the 2011 BBVA NBA All-Star Celebrity Game in Los Angeles.
Bieber is just one of many celebs in this year’s basketball game, including Ty Burrell, Rob Kardashian, Zachary Levi, Jason Alexander and Common. NBA luminaries expected to hit the court include Magic Johnson, Scottie Pippen, Bill Walton, AC Green, B.J. Armstrong as well as players-turned sports analysts Chris Mullin and Jalen Rose.
Comedian Jimmy Kimmel will serve as the event’s general manager for one team, while ESPN columnist Bill Simmons leads the other team. A complete list of participants, including WNBA players, will be announced at a later date.
On MTV’s “The Diary of Justin Bieber,” which premiered back in March, the singer drained a half-court shot while the cameras were rolling, so it will be interesting to see what he can pull off on the All-Star court.
Whether you’re a Belieber or not, it’ll be hard to miss the singer in February. Not only will the teen idol be featured in two commercials on Super Bowl Sunday, but his heavily promoted feature-film debut, “Never Say Never,” hits theaters nationwide February 11. Days later, the star is set to take the stage alongside Jaden Smith and Usher at the 53rd annual Grammys, where he’s nominated for two awards. JB will also return to “CSI” on February 17, where his character may be killed off.

Picture it: Justin Bieber and Cher singing…together!
The possibility may not be as crazy as ya think.
Why?
Cher’s “You Haven’t Seen the Last of Me” songwriter Diane Warren has written a song for the Biebster.
Warren, who just won a Golden Globe for Cher’s Burlseque ballad, tells me she wrote “Born to Be Somebody” for J.B.’s upcoming movie.
“He’s not only really talented, but he’s also a smart kid,” Warren says. “He’s surrounded by good people and…he has a good head on his shoulders.”
Warren laughs, “The age difference between Cher and Justin is something like 40 years. That’s variety, right?”
Also on Warren’s list of upcoming collaborations? Jennifer Hudson’s ballad, “Still Here” and some “country-pop” with Kristin Chenoweth, aka Glee’s April Rhodes.
Now let’s hear from all you Bieber and Cher fans: Should they hit the studio together?

The 2011 Grammy Awards will air in a little over three weeks, and now Beliebers have something else to be psyched about. Justin Bieber and Jaden Smith have been added to the A-list group of stars that will be performing at the annual event.
According to MTV, the ‘Never Say Never’ collaborators will appear on stage with Usher for “a special performance.” The Grammys will take place on February 13, just two days after Justin’s new movie ‘Justin Bieber: Never Say Never’ arrives in theaters, so we’re anticipating a memorable appearance.
The 16-year-old Canadian pop star is nominated for two Grammys this year — Best New Artist and Best Pop Vocal Album. In December, Justin posted a video to show fans how excited he was about the recognition.
JB will join the likes of Bruno Mars, B.o.B., Lady Gaga, Katy Perry and Muse, who are also scheduled to perform at the awards show. Cee Lo Green, Eminem, Arcade Fire, Lady Antebellum, Janelle Monae and Miranda Lambert are set to hit the stage next month, as well.
Are you excited to see Justin and Jaden perform? We know the duo has their song ‘Never Say Never’ down, but we can’t wait to see how Usher will help amp up the appearance. Could there be a medley in store? What would be your dream situation?

The 29-year-old reality star recently did a beach photo shoot with the teen sensation, 16, for ELLE magazine but said they are nothing more than friends.
Speaking to Extra, Kim said: “I think it shows obviously he has a huge following of young girls. We would not seriously date. I could literally be his mum. To all the Bieb-lievers out there, we’re just friends.”
This is not the first time Kardashian has been forced to confirm she isn’t dating the singer as his fans got upset back in May when they posed in a picture on Twitter.

Which one do you prefer? Is he trying to be like Justin or what? Cody simpson posted a video of him singing cry me a river by Justin Timberlake on youtube. Who else has already done this I wonder…
Listen to both of these, the chorus especially. And which one is better? I think the music industry is just jumping at any chance they can get these days to find another Justin Bieber. Im not bagging Cody Simpson, he’s got talent, and I like his song iYiYi. But I think he’s just trying to be like Biebs, and he’s denying it too.
He says in a Radio Disney interview that its a real flattering for a newcomer to be compared to someone successful.
