To celebrate his 17th birthday, Justin played house in the Presidential Suite at the St. Regis with girlfriend Selena. They fed each other dinner, kissed in public and spent an awful lot of time alone (sans bodyguards and moms!) in their fancy digs.
With a five-star hotel, ocean side views and a gorgeous woman by his side, Justin Bieber’s foray into manhood has been quite the extravagant affair. The 16, turning 17-year-old superstar celebrated his birthday a couple days early by renting the $6,000-a-night Presidential Suite at the posh St. Regis Monarch Beach hotel in Dana Point, Calif., and spending the night with Selena Gomez. Well played, sir!
The adorable couple (who officially went public with their three-month relationship the next day at the Vanity Fair Oscars after party) started their evening Feb. 26 at the resort’s Stonehill Tavern restaurant for dinner, where they weren’t afraid to show some PDA.
“It was kind of like Cameron Diaz and Alex Rodriguez at the Super Bowl,” one eyewitness tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively. “They were feeding each other with their forks and they definitely kissed. It was obvious they are totally enamored with one another and that the feelings are mutual either way.”
Throughout the meal, Selena, 18, was heard telling Justin, “Happy birthday, baby!” and “It’s your birthday – we’re are going to do what you want to do!”
How sweet is that?
After their meal, the couple headed down to the beach hand-in-hand for a late night stroll and then headed back to their massive suite. With 3,000 square feet, the Presidential Suite at the St. Regis costs a whopping $6,000 a night and includes a private balcony overlooking the ocean, a master bathroom with separate jacuzzi tub and steam shower, a master bedroom with a king-sized bed, a dining room for 10 people and much, much more.
The suite even comes with a butler — someone Justin and Selena only contacted a few times to get “some desserts.”
“For the most part, Justin and Selena wanted to be left alone,” another source tells us. “They didn’t have body guards or parents with them, but there was an emergency contact list at the front desk with numbers for a bodyguard and some of their people’s info if they needed it in any way.”
The following day, Justin and Selena made waves when they showed up hand-in-hand to Vanity Fair’s annual Oscar party and even smooched in the photo booth. That said, all the party PDA in the world pales in comparison to their romantic (and extravagant) beach side getaway the night before!
Biebs, if there’s one thing you know how to do well, it’s how to show your lady a good time. Happy 17th birthday!
