Justin Bieber & Selena Gomez kiss at the 2011 TCAs
Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber triumphed at the 2011 Teen Choice Awards.
Gomez won a total of 5 gongs across a variety of categories. She claimed the ‘Choice TV Actress (Comedy)’ award for her role in Wizards of Waverley Place, ‘Choice Single’ for ‘Who Says’, ‘Choice Love Song’ for ‘Love You Like a Love Song’ and the ‘Choice Female Hottie‘ award.Β She also won the ‘Choice Music Group’ award alongside her band Selena Gomez and the Scene.
Bieber claimed four awards across a spread of categories, winning ‘Choice Male Artist’, ‘Choice Male Hottie‘, ‘Choice TV Villain’ for his role in CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and ‘Choice Twit’ for his Twitter account.
The teenage singer was spotted dancing during Gomez’s performance of ‘Love You Like a Love Song’ during the ceremony.
Sean Kingston, who presented Bieber with an award, took the opportunity to thank fans for their support following his serious jet ski accident in May.

I don’t think it’s awkward at all. She’s 19, he’s 17 and in a few months he’ll be 18. No one would think this was weird if Justin was the older one in the relationship. They are very similar and are at the same places in their lives. Age shouldn’t really matter and they both seem really happy together. There are photos of them dancing at the afterparty!
