Whitney Houston died yesterday at the age of 48.
I know most of you probably don’t know who Whitney Houston is. I know her music very well because she’s my mom’s favorite singer and I grew up singing to all her songs. Most people considering her the best singer of all time. Her voice was so angelic and powerful that she is the singer that all other singers look up to.
So I was extremely sad yesterday when I found out she had died. If you follow our Facebook fan page you would see that that was the only thing I posted all day yesterday.
Though Justin has never met Whitney, considering that his mom has a lot of influence on the music he listened to while growing up in Canada, I’m sure Pattie must have been a Whitney fan too. How could she not be? So I was happy to see that JB paid his respects and tweeted:
just heard the news. so crazy. One of the GREATEST VOICES EVER just passed. RIP Whitney Houston. My prayers go out to her friends and family
As a tribute to Whitney, I just wanted to post one of her live performances. Watch the whole video and you will see why people simply called her “The Voice”. There’s a reason the whole audience gave her a standing ovation even before the song was even over.
Rest in peace and may God be with your family. Your music will live on forever.

I grew up listening to her music too, bcause of my mom and when people say they don’t know who Whitney Houston is, it’s kinda weird to me.. Me and my family used to sing her songs on karaoke. her voice is amazing! R.I.P. <3

I was in shock and i still am! She is my inspiration above of JB! I went to many or her concerts and to her last one! Im on my 20ties so im a fan of her long before Justin was famous! Its a shame the world missed a voice like hers, he had the most powerfull voice i ever heard! I will miss her but she will never be forgoten!
