Before last night’s show in Mexico City, Justin tweeted:
@justinbieber: Just met some amazing Mexican Beliebers and the presidente of Mexico and his familia. Now it is showtime. 60,000 tonight. Night 1. Te amo.
The tweet (which has now been deleted) surprised the office of Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto and they issued a statement denying that Justin met Nieto.
“The president’s office has denied that the president, Enrique Pena Nieto, held a meeting with singer Justin Bieber… The agenda of the president has focused on internal activities with members of his cabinet.”
Justin must have made a mistake. Instead of meeting the president, JB met his family at the meet & greet before the show last night.
Justin caught his mistake and has now issued a correction:
@justinbieber: *correction. I met the presidente’s family and all their friends in the private meet and greet with all their security. They were very nice.
Ooopsies! Now watch the media jump all over this one to make Justin look bad :/
Who is this Poo Bear and why is this the second time we’ve heard of his name?
A couple of weeks ago I posted that Justin’s BAD DAY is not an original song. Apparently a guy by the name of Poo Bear had already recorded the track and that Justin’s was a cover of that song.
Ticket sales for Justin’s Australia leg of the Believe Tour are down with many tickets selling for half their original price, and some don’t even have any bids (including seats in the front four rows, priced at $79.00).
Stats show it’s because JB is losing his squeaky clean image.
Sales decreased 23 percent since the pop star’s infamous visit to a Brazilian brothel and another 18 percent since we saw that picture of his tiny body sleeping in a hotel earlier this month. Overall, tickets are 41 percent of the price they sold for last year.
Justin has 8 shows scheduled for Australia from Nov 26 to Dec 8th.
