Showbiz Tonight goes on location at the Beverly Hilton to talk with Justin Bieber and his manger, Scooter Braun about their extremely lucrative partnership. “We have a very special relationship that’s very — it’s not a normal manager-client relationship. He is family,” says Scooter Braun.

Justin Bieber adds, “His parents say that I’m their revenge, basically, because I have a lot of energy and I’m always giving him a hard time…at times he can be annoying, but I know he’s only trying to have me have the best character.”

Scooter Braun reveals the teen heartthrob initially had doubts about his own success telling Showbiz Tonight, “When I met Justin, he didn’t even know what was possible. He never wanted to be famous, he never wanted to be a star . . . it didn’t even seem possible . . . when I showed him how it could happen . . . I have never seen anyone fight as hard.”

At just 18 years old, Justin Bieber is worth a reported $105 million and is ranked No.3 on Forbes‘ list of “The World’s Most Powerful Celebrities,” behind Lady Gaga and Oprah and just ahead of U2.

That empire is managed by Scooter Braun, who spoke with Business Insider last Friday to tell us how it happened.

The scale of Bieber Inc. is daunting: The newly legal teen’s 2011 concert documentary film “Never Say Never” raked in $100 million globally. His live shows around the world bring in $600,000 in gross ticket sales per night.

This month alone, Bieber has used his newfound funds to buy a $20,000 limited edition Ducati motorcycle (even though he doesn’t have his license yet) and a $6 million Calabasas mansion.

But none of this would have been possible if Braun, a young club-promoter-turned-talent agent, had not plucked Bieber from YouTube obscurity.

As the oft-told story goes, in 2008 Braun tracked down Bieber after seeing his online videos and realizing the kid with the voice and the hair had “it.” The rest is teen pop history.

Posing with his latest trophy, Justin Bieber hit the red carpet at NYU Paulson Auditorium in NYC for The 3rd Annual Tribeca Disruptive Innovation Awards this afternoon (April 27).

Clad in a cool black and white jacket, white tee, chain-adorned skinny jeans and matching sneaker, the “Never Say Never” hunk turned his eye to the shutterbugs as as his clinched his hammer-shaped prize.

The 18-year-old heartthrob earned the award for changing the face of pop stars – pushing the limit and taking the time to connect with fans, especially through social media.

Before being recognized at the show, Justin had the TFF in a frenzy as he stopped to take pictures and sign autographs for unsuspecting fans.

Another rumor has been shot down…

Scooter Braun is laughing off reports that Justin is planning to propose to Selena Gomez after the cute couple was allegedly spotted shopping for engagement rings.

The Chicago Sun-Times website suggested that the teen couple was ready to commit to one another and become man and wife.

“Several people close to the superstar couple say they’re convinced an engagement is in the very near future. The teen idols were spied closely eyeing some pricy (sic) bling in a couple of major jewelry stores – especially major diamond baubles that could only be described as the kind usually slipped on a woman’s left-hand ring finger.”

The report sparked a Twitter frenzy as fans of the stars began to comment on the news online, but Justin’s manager, Scooter Braun, has moved quickly to shoot down the claims.

Braun tells UsMagazine.com the marriage rumors are “complete bullshit” and reveals he and his team are “laughing” at the inaccurate speculation.
