Some of Ellen’s favorite people — Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift, Nicki Minaj and President Bill Clinton — shared their feelings about the talk show host we all love.
Forbes magazine has just come out with their list of Highest Paid Celebrities under 30 and Taylor Swift and Justin tops the list!
Taylor Swift:
We estimate that between May 2011 and May 2012, Swift earned $57 million. Each of the 22-year-old singer’s three albums have gone platinum at least four times, meaning that in these days of waning music sales, Swift can be counted on to sell at least 4 million copies of every album.
Then there’s her concerts, which bring in an average of $1 million per night, and her endorsement work for products like CoverGirl makeup. Swift’s money and fame helped her land in 11th place on our annual Celebrity 100 list this year, which is based on earnings and metrics we’ve developed to quantify buzz.
Justin Bieber:
The highest-ranking man on our list isn’t even old enough to drink. Just 18 years old, Justin Bieber comes in a close second behind Swift with $55 million in earnings. Bieber (who appeared on the cover of our Celebrity 100 issue this year) earns big from his music sales, concerts and endorsements for products like Proactiv. The Bieb is also a budding venture capitalist: He’s made investments in start-up companies like Stamped, Tinychat and Spotify.
Bieber is the only male in the top five.
Btw Forbes ranks Justin as the third most powerful celebrity behind Jennifer Lopez & Oprah Winfrey. Taylor is 11th on that list.

Justin Bieber will be honored with the Elizabeth Taylor Fragrance Celebrity Award from the Fragrance Foundation later this month for sales of his Someday perfume.
Along with Taylor Swift’s Wonderstruck, the two young stars revitalized the celebrity fragrance industry, helping sales increase 57 percent in sales in 2011.
Justin’s women’s perfume Someday is one of the top sellers in department and specialty stores, while White Diamonds, the scent launched 20 years ago by the late Elizabeth Taylor, is tops in big box stores. JB even briefly bumped favorite fragrances like Chanel No. 5 and Coco Mademoiselle out of the top sales spots last year.
No word yet on whether Justin will show up in person to receive the award. We’ll keep you posted.
We all knew this was in the works and today in a telephone interview with Kiss FM Justin confirmed the collab with Taylor Swift in the new album. But he said they wrote a song so that might not mean they are actually doing a duet. And also as expected, Drake will also be on Believe.
Justin Bieber believes girls will go “crazy” for the boys in One Direction because they are “genuine good guys” and he’s predicting them to be the biggest boy band in the world.
Said Justin:
“The single guys from One Direction are going to have a lot of fun. They look great, they sound great and, when you add their British accents into the mix, the American girls are going crazy for them. Sure you need the talent, but you need to win over the American public, that’s what it is all about. One Direction are genuine good guys. The industry needs a fresh boy band, and by the end of this year they will be the biggest boy band in the world.”
Justin, 18, revealed he knows a big-name star who has the hots for One Direction’s Harry Styles – who is in the group alongside Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne, Niall Horan and Zayn Malik – but he has been “sworn to secrecy”.

JB told the Daily Mirror newspaper:
“I already know one of the biggest artists in the world thinks Harry is so hot, but I have been sworn to secrecy.”
