South America has Bieber Fever!

Justin’s Argentina concert in Buenos Aires went on sale this morning and completely sold out in less than 30 minutes. The October 12 concert to be held at the River Plate Stadium sold over 15,000 tickets.

I’m not surprised because Justin is even bigger in South America than he is in North America. In fact I don’t think Canada or the USA are even in the top 3 countries in terms of Justin’s biggest fans. The top 3 countries with the biggest Beliebers are Australia, Philippines, and Brazil with Brazil being the biggest support for JB. Brazil’s concert dates have not been announced yet but I think it’s safe to say that when they do go on sale all concerts in Brazil will be sold out guaranteed.

Listed below are the official South American concert dates so far:

09.30.11 Monterrey, Mexico – Arena Monterrey
10.01.11 Mexico City, Mexico – Foro Sol
10.12.11 Buenos Aires, Argentina – River Plate Stadium
10.15.11 Santiago, Chile – Estadio Nacional

From our last poll on Facebook it seems like an overwhelming majority wanted ALL Bieber news, including the bad. Well here’s something that would fit that category.

The following video shows Justin at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport in Manila, Philippines. I can’t really tell exactly what happened from the video but it appears that JB knocked something out of the man’s hands.

“My father (in neon green vest) tried to get an autograph from Justin Bieber for my sister. But take a look on what he did. He tapped my father’s hand and the CD fell on the floor. Nobody from his crew helped him. Not even an apology from Justin Bieber himself. Where are your manners now kiddo? i know you’re sick but you could’ve at least said sorry you are not signing anything. How could you do that to my father.”

The girl recorded the video on her cell phone while her dad tried to get an autograph from JB. It probably might have been a better idea to switch and let the daughter ask for the autograph? But nonetheless JB should be more courteous.

What do you think is going on here? Did Justin even knock it down? Was he just in a bad mood? Or is it because he was sick and irritable? idk

Justin Bieber was so sick last night at his show in the Philippines, TMZ has learned, the singer repeatedly took breaks during his set to run backstage … and barf his brains out.

Sources close to Bieber tell TMZ, JB came down with some kind of chest infection last week — and when he hit the stage last night in Manila … the wooziness was way too much to handle.

Gotta give the kid props — in fact, just before his concert last night, he tweeted, “Sick as a dog … But the show must go on.”

I can’t believe how many times this lady throws in some English to trip us out. And this is a professional news reporter. Is this how things usually is in the Philippines?

So does that mean to really understand Filipino tv means you have to understand 2 languages?

Are you in for a treat?

An outbreak of Bieber fever will surely engulfed the country as Justin Bieber performs at the Mall of Asia (MOA) Concert Grounds on May 10 next year.

Smart will produce the concert in cooperation with Music Management International & AEDI which confirmed the good news.

Earlier, Bieber fans got disappointed when the pop star was not able to join Usher earlier this year for a rumored “brief appearance” on Usher’s show also held at the MOA. Justin is being managed by Usher’s recording company.

Meanwhile, Bieber seems to be surrounded with our homegrown talents. His background singers happen to be a Fil-Am band named Legaci, and his back-up dancers are Filipinos. His shows usually feature the dance group Poreotix from America’s Best Dance Crew that happens to have Filipino members as well. Even when it comes to his private life, getting involved with Filipina singer Jasmine Villegas.

Get ready Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and maybe Hong Kong because they will soon announce more dates for Asia.

MANILA, Philippines — It looks like Filipinos will have another “connection” to pop superstar Justin Bieber.

Young duo Krissy and Ericka, who popularized the songs “Up Up Down Down,” “Surf’s Up” and the cover of M2M’s “Don’t Say You Love Me,” will have an appearance in Justin’s upcoming 3D movie via their version of his hit song “Baby.”

“Happy to tell everyone that a clip from our Baby cover on YouTube will be shown on Justin Bieber’s new 3D movie!” the singing sisters tweeted on Oct. 29.

As reported by PEP, Paramount Pictures, producer of 16-year old Justin’s biographical film, has sought the permission of Krissy and Ericka’s manager Erickson Raymundo to use their “Baby” cover for the movie.

In an interview, Krissy clarified that “it’s just gonna be a short split of our rendition of it (‘Baby’).” Nevertheless, “even if it’s just like five seconds, we are really happy for Justin Bieber to see it.” Krissy also happens to have a big crush on Justin.

Justin’s movie is slated for release Valentine’s Day of 2011.

Krissy and Ericka’s “Baby” video, uploaded Feb. 24 of this year, has been viewed 1,259,265 times as of this writing. It has also received 6,371 likes and marked as “favorite” 4,166 times by YouTube users.

Prior to Krissy and Ericka, several other Filipino acts had met or collaborated with The Bieb. First on the list is Justin’s leading lady in his “Baby” music video, singer Jasmine Villegas—whom he was also seen making out with inside a car last month.

There’s also international singing sensation Charice, who met Justin during their guest appearance in an episode of “The Oprah Winfrey Show.” Charice herself did her own version of “Baby,” the video of which was posted on popular Hollywood blogger Perez Hilton’s website.

Serving as back-up singers to the pop heartthrob is Legaci, a four-man Filipino-American R&B group. They somehow share a similar fate with Justin, with YouTube as their launching pad. They received that life-changing call from Justin’s manager Scott Braun in only less than 24 hours after they uploaded their version of “Baby.”
