If you are anxiously awaiting the release of Justin Bieber’s new single “Mistletoe” — so much so that you must be around to hear it played on the radio for the very first time — then you now know where to look for it next week.
The 17-year old Bieber confirmed on Tuesday that his first single from his upcoming album “Under the Mistletoe” (which hits stores on November 1) will debut during “On Air with Ryan Seacrest” this Monday morning (October 17). Justin has performed the track during some select stops on his Latin-American tour, but we have yet to hear it in such crystal-clear quality. (In addition, the studio version may simply have a different instrumentation.)
Bieber’s single will be available for purchase the same day that it hits the radio, which means that for everyone Christmas may very well be coming early.
Time to clear up some confusion and fill you in on what’s expected from JB music-wise in the coming weeks while he’s on tour.
First, just so you know….The title of the Christmas Charity album is “Under The Mistletoe”. The song Justin just filmed in Franklin, Tennessee (the first song to be released) is called “Mistletoe” only. No “Under The”. The official music video will be released on midnight (New York time) Monday, October 17th.
In terms of hearing his new music early?…. From what I have seen usually JB’s music doesn’t get leaked (usually), but I’ve seen his videos get leaked many times before the official release. The videos for “Next to You” with Chris Brown and “Eenie Meenie” with Sean Kingson are two examples. BTW Ryan Seacrest has made it his mission to be the first to play songs off the Christmas album on his radio show. Fingers crossed. Let’s hope that happens soon.
Speaking of Sean Kingston…. I had mentioned a while ago that there would be 2 remixes coming out. One with Sean Kingston and one with Lil Wayne’s “How to Love”. When Scooter said last week that a JB remix was releasing this week I had assumed it was the one with Sean Kingston and complained on our Facebook fan page about how they would be able to release the remix if Sean didn’t even go into the studio yet to record his part. So when the Lil Wayne remix came out I apologized on Twitter for thinking it was the SK remix. So is there a Sean Kingston & Justin Bieber remix? Sean Kingston himself says yes.
“@JBShrine @dani95jb there is a JB&SK remix!!.. Will be out soon!”
Are you thinking what I’m thinking? I bet you the Sean Kingston remix is the duet they’re doing on JB’s Christmas album. But how could this be as we already know all the songs on the Christmas album will be all originals? Which should mean no remixes on the Christmas album. Imagine they did a remixed version of “Rudolf the Red Nosed Reindeer”? haha. Now that would be original right?
What a weird video. Usually Justin is very smooth at making these videos. He seems totally out of it here. And it’s titled “Ryan Seacrest” and JB clearly said “Brian”. What’s going on here?
Hmm. Not sure what to say. What kind of secret is it when people have the “whole low down” on all your private plans? Ken Baker of E!News was the same person that announced Selena would be joining Justin in Asia. He now just happens to meet up with Selena right after she gets back from Asia who spills all the secret to their planned “romantic getaway” this summer to the same guy that spilled the “secret” about her joining Justin in Asia.
Coincidence? Not so much. Now I’m more sure that Selena was the one who “leaked” their Asia rendezvous in the first place. Beliebe it.
The world is still reacting to the news of an 8.9-magnitude earthquake that struck Japan on Friday (March 11). The devastating quake triggered a 10-meter tsunami that now threatens Pacific coastal areas including Hawaii and the West Coast of the United States. Celebrities have taken to Twitter to share their love and support for those affected by the natural disaster.
“I’m sending my thoughts and prayers and love to those in Japan who are hurting,” Taylor Swift tweeted. Fellow pop princess Katy Perry shared a similar sentiment, writing, “My prayers go out to anyone that is being effected by the disaster in Japan. #prayforjapan.”
Selena Gomez, who was just in the country, took to Facebook to express her concern. “Wow, I don’t even know what to say, Japan. I was just there and you were all so wonderful to me,” she wrote. “I am sending all my love, prayers and support.”
Justin Bieber also tweeted about the news. “Japan is one of my favorite places on earth. … It’s an incredible culture with amazing people. My prayers go out to them. We all need to help.” He added, “#prayforjapan.” [continue reading…]
Selena Gomez was on Ryan Seacrest’s radio program earlier this morning to premiere to her song “Who Says” and she says that the song is perfect for the situation she’s in right now on Twitter and Facebook.
In other words she said she’s getting a lot of hate from myyourour her boyfriend’s fans.
Thumbs up to Ryan for putting her on the spot after she says she feels like she’s 15. Of course she’s into younger guys. Duh!!
