A Canadian company is taking the concept to a new level selling cloned sample copies of the pop star’s DNA in necklace pendants.
Celebrity Gene obtained and extracted the DNA from a piece of Justin’s hair and will begin selling the pendants at the end of May on their website – with the cloned copies retailing for about $120 Canadian, and the original strand will sell for big bucks sometime in the future.
“We wanted to make this item so that all tweens can afford one and always carry around Justin,” said head DNA scientist at Celebrity Gene, Ryan Lehto.
“We obtained his hair DNA due to popular demand and because we like that he is Canadian and how he went from YouTube to an international superstar!”
Each DNA pendant will come with a silver box chain and a certificate of authenticity.
Celebrity Gene currently sells DNA pendants from other famous icons such as Mozart, Elvis Presley, George Washington and Mickey Mantle.
A haircut popularized by teen idols such as Justin Bieber can cause children to develop lazy eye, said a leading Australian optometrist. Optometrists Association national executive member Andrew Hogan said emo-style haircuts with fringes that dangle over one eye can amblyopia, or lazy eye, by preventing the nerve pathway from the amblyopic eye to the brain from developing properly. Hair over the eye acts like an eyepatch, reducing sensory input from the covered eye, weakening it and straining the dominant eye.
This is one of the weirdest post I’ve ever done :/
Justin Bieber: Photos From The Forbes Cover Shoot
The 18-year-old idol ranks third on FORBES’ annual Celeb 100 issue, and with $108 million in earnings over the past two years, he’s one of the world’s highest-paid entertainers. Click through to see more photos from our cover shoot, or read the full story here.
These pictures from Forbes are so stunning. The best pictures I think I’ve ever seen. He looks so mature and sophisticated in the suit. I really like the outdoor pictures.
Forbes just came out with their 100 most powerful celebrities list and for the second year in a row Justin is ranked #3 behind Jennifer Lopez and Oprah Winfrey. They chose to put Justin on the cover.
Justin Bieber is featured in GQ Magazine and below are highlights from his interview…
On not being able to trust people in the entertainment industry:
“I mean, I keep my guard up a lot, because you know, you can’t trust anyone in this business. That’s what’s sad. You can’t trust anybody. I learned the hard way.”
On not being a big drinker:
“For me, it’s just like, I like to be in control of myself. I mean, I’ve had a beer, like, before … but I never get out of control.”
On his style sense:
“I’m 18 years old and I’m a swaggy adult.”
On Kim Kardashian:
“People say she doesn’t do anything; she actually does do stuff…. She works hard.”
I got some hate from a couple of die-hard Beliebers who didn’t believe me when I said that Justin drinks alcohol with The Wanted saying how I twist stories that are not true. see? JB admitted it himself! 😛 He’s 18, of course he drinks.
These are not all the pictures of the GQ photoshoot. Expect more hot pics to come out soon. You can read the full interview at GQ.
