Justin took part in Ludacris’s Ludaday Weekend Celebrity Basketball Game earlier today. It was Team Justin vs Team Ludacris. Justin’s team won and raised $10,000 for charity.
Looks like JB had a good time:
we made a lot of money for #charity today at the game. thanks to everyone who supported and to @ludacris for living as an example to others….felt great winning 2day. felt even better knowing we did it 4 #charity. thanks 2 all the fans who came out 2 support. #muchlove
In a Twitter conversation with his manager, Scooter Braun, Justin Bieber revealed more info about the album, even sharing that it won’t contain the holiday standards fans might expect. “This Christmas album is amazing. Might be the best album yet,” Scooter Braun wrote on the social networking site. “All originals … soon 2 b classics. every1 i play it 4 is blown away. #excited.”
The 17-year-old superstar then shared, “@scooterbraun yeah we are going hard for Christmas!! #mistletoe.” He later revealed that he had been recording tracks with some of his pals. “Had a great studio session with my big bro @seankingston and the talented @jonathanrotem #GOODMUSIC.”
Perhaps as a hint of what is to come, Bieber also retweeted a message from Braun in which Braun said, “Goin 2 bed listening 2 this new xmas album bieber is coming with. really #classic. original xmas tunes that r legit hit records. #greatmusic.”
Bieber has been working hard on new music, both holiday-themed and other. When MTV News caught up with him earlier this summer, he wanted his fans to know that anything is possible on his next album. “[I’m] writing about how I feel and producing. I’ve been producing on my laptop and on my computer,” he said. “I’ve been really into it and, hopefully, this next album will be huge.”
With two hit albums under his belt already, Canadian singer Justin Bieber will be heading back into the studio soon to start working on his next album! According to Hollywood life, Justin has been enjoying his youth a bit before getting serious with his music once more.
“Justin is taking his time to be a kid right now,” says Scooter Braun, Justin’s manager. “It’s hard for him to be a kid. He’s not a ‘normal’ kid. He’s been really gracious with all the pressure.”
“He’s excited to get back in the studio. We started the process slowly over the past couple of weeks, and we’ll get heavy into it in a couple of weeks.”
Can’t wait to hear some new music from Justin! Justin was last spotted with girlfriend Selena Gomez as the duo checked out the 2011 ESPY Awards on Wednesday.

It’s funny that the interviewer would ask Justin about his relationship with Selena and Justin shuts him down right away.
Do you know who this interviewer is? He’s the same guy that Selena kept leaking info to about her secret plans with Justin a few months ago. Yup he’s that Ken Baker.
Remember when Justin Bieber’s manager, Scooter Braun, was arrested for allegedly inciting a fangirl frenzy during a November 2009 appearance at a Long Island mall? Well, the charges against Braun were dropped today after the teen heartthrob agreed to make a public service announcement for an anti-cyberbullying campaign…
The Nassau County District Attorney’s Office confirmed to E! News that as part of the agreement worked out with Bieber’s camp, a charge against Braun for violating a county fire prevention ordinance and creating what became a dangerous situation was dismissed.
Instead, the popster’s record label, Island Def Jam, took the fall, pleading guilty Friday morning to the ordinance violation and agreeing to reimburse the county almost $8,000 to pay its share of the costs associated with the law enforcement and fire marshall response created by the melee. And then, of course, there’s the PSA. [continue reading…]
Justin Bieber’s scheduled concerts in Japan could be torpedoed because of a crew mutiny … TMZ has learned.
Many crew members have flat out refused to go to Japan for two concerts later this month, because they’re afraid of the cancer risks from the recent nuclear disaster. They also fear another earthquake. Short story — they are refusing to go to Osaka for a May 17 concert and another concert two days later in Tokyo.
Today in Adelaide, Australia, an angry Scooter Braun — Justin’s manager — exploded at the crew … sources who were there tell TMZ.
Braun told the crew, “Man the f**k up and do the right thing by these kids.”
But during the meeting — the 3rd one in 4 days — members of the crew fired back that it wasn’t safe to go and Avril Lavigne and Slash had canceled their Japan concerts.
Scooter said Justin did not want to disappoint the kids who bought tickets and that the Japanese government had given an “all clear” — that it was safe to be in both cities.
And Scooter noted, Maroon 5 is full steam ahead for its upcoming Japanese concerts.
As of now, there’s a stalemate, and the Japanese concerts are in jeopardy.
Today, Justin Bieber, Adam Levine (along with singer-songwriter PJ Morton, Bieber’s manager Scooter Braun and his bodyguard Kenny Hamilton) have been all over Twitter talking about some epic basketball games that went down. Apparently, Levine and Bieber were on separate teams, and the duo is now engaged in a Twitter war, trash-talking each other’s b-ball skills.
Levine seemed to have dominated the court since he tweeted at teammate Scooter Braun, writing, “@scooterbraun, is this the part where i tell the world that @justinbieber can play ball? we shut him down though. #DEFENSEwinsgames.” Bieber also wrote in saying, “#wewongames.”
This comment was much to Bieber’s disliking: “@adamlevine u know what really happened 2nite. only reason u guys won any games was because @scooterbraun shot 3′s in @kennyhamilton‘s face.”
Bieber went on to write, “and @adamlevine u need to remember you lost the first games because i was killing@PJMORTON – tell him to stick to playin keys. lol.” The Maroon 5 frontman and ‘The Voice‘ coach quickly tweeted back, saying, “@justinbieber ok ok that’s fair. You let @PJMORTON have it. I like the trash talking. Wait til NBA2K. #gonnabeugly.”
The playfully heated conversation ended with Bieber tweeting “#wewongames,” and Levine replying, “#wewonmore.” We think this calls for an official rematch. Levine versus Bieber, one-on-one!
