Remember when there was the rumor going around that Selena and Justin broke up because of his “bad rap friends” like Lil Wayne and Chris Brown? And that Selena didn’t want Justin to bring Sean Kingston to her Boca Raton concert? Well Sean spoke to Ryan Seacrest yesterday and said it is all untrue and that him and Selena have no beef.

Gomez won a total of 5 gongs across a variety of categories. She claimed the ‘Choice TV Actress (Comedy)’ award for her role in Wizards of Waverley Place, ‘Choice Single’ for ‘Who Says’, ‘Choice Love Song’ for ‘Love You Like a Love Song’ and the ‘Choice Female Hottie‘ award. She also won the ‘Choice Music Group’ award alongside her band Selena Gomez and the Scene.

Bieber claimed four awards across a spread of categories, winning ‘Choice Male Artist’, ‘Choice Male Hottie‘, ‘Choice TV Villain’ for his role in CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and ‘Choice Twit’ for his Twitter account.

The teenage singer was spotted dancing during Gomez’s performance of ‘Love You Like a Love Song’ during the ceremony.

Sean Kingston, who presented Bieber with an award, took the opportunity to thank fans for their support following his serious jet ski accident in May.

Teen lovers Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez are on the rocks – because of his bad boy hip-hop friends.

The pair are taking time out after Selena, 19, ordered the clean-cut pop idol to ditch his new pals, The Sun can reveal.

It came after Justin, 17, arrived at one of Selena’s gigs in Florida last week with rap ace Sean Kingston, 21 – a former child burglar.

Justin is also close to gun-charge former convict Lil Wayne and has released a track with R&B’s Chris Brown, who beat ex-lover Rihanna.

A pal of Disney star Selena revealed: “Selena told him to stop hanging with these bad people.

“She didn’t want Sean Kingston to crash her gig but Justin brought him to concert in Boca Raton anyway. They had a huge fight and said it was good they were having time apart while she was on tour.”

But the next day Justin and Sean caused hysteria by cruising through Miami in an open-top Rolls-Royce.

A pal of Selena said she saw Justin in tears during rows with her. She said: “It’s hard seeing a little 17-year-old crying and saying he loves her.”

R&B star Sean Kingston has paid tribute to famous friend Justin Bieber after the Baby singer took time out of his crazy schedule to help support him following a near-fatal jet ski accident earlier this year.

The Beautiful Girls hitmaker was left in a critical condition after the Miami, Florida incident in May and spent nearly a month in hospital recovering from his injuries.

Bieber spent time with his former Eenie Meenie collaborator over the weekend (July 30-31, 2011) and he recorded a special message for Kingston, which was shown to the star during an interview on an Mtv special on Tuesday (Aug 2).

In the dedicated clip, the Baby hitmaker says, “I just wanna say what’s up Sean, I’m glad you’re doing well. I had fun hanging out with you in Miami and there’s plenty more memories to come.”

And Kingston admits he’s thankful to have such a “loyal friend” in Bieber to rely on in times of need.

He says, “That’s my lil’ bro man… I see that he’s a loyal friend. For me to be in a life or death situation like that and then for me to come out the hospital and know that he’s calling my mum, calling my manager, calling everybody asking how I’m doing, I see that he’s a great friend; a great, true person at heart.”
